EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT
The Scituate Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is looking to recruit volunteers to assist the Agency. We need volunteers from all walks of life, female, male, students, working and retired persons, those with and without emergency response experience, everyone and anyone who would like to assist fellow citizens in times of need. In the event of a disaster we need to be prepared to dispense medicines, search for injured persons or assist our professional responders and much more. To prepare them, all volunteers receive free training and equipment. Volunteers will participate in emergency exercises and assist public safety responders when requested. The requirements to become a volunteer are to have a willingness to help and to pass a criminal background check.
